What is Mystery Shopping?
Mystery shopping is a process whereby individuals pose as normal customers, it is required that they carry out observations as to the customer employee relationship, check if the employees have their name tags on them, check if the environment is clean enough. At the end, the mystery shoppers go back and give a detailed report to their coordinators.
Mystery shopping is done in order to accentuate Businesses, Companies register themselves to Mystery Shopping agencies so that they can be able to check the activities of their other branches Internationally. Let's assume a Company A is situated in the U.S and then they have other branches in Africa, and they would like to know how their branch in Africa is performing, all they have to do is to sign up with a Mystery Shopping Company over there and this Company who have a database of members and their location calls any of their agents who is close enough to that Branch of the Company A. They give him the assignment, he goes there and makes his observation and gives back his report. That's all! The Mystery Shopping Company now relates back to the Company A with the full report of the observation that was made by the Mystery shopper. Company A pays the mystery Shopping Company and the Company in return pays its agent (You).
Mystery shopping is very interesting. Sometimes you might be required to write an examination in an IT firm just like i did. They give you a voucher and register for the exam and you choose the center to be observed as your exam center. You go to the center and write the examination as well as make your observation about the environment, name tags of employees, if they offered to assist you to pass the exam and things like that. You make your observations and you fill your questionnaire and send it back to your coordinator through the internet. Your performance will be graded and you get paid for your work.
Sometimes you would also be required to visit a restaurant, a fashion house for shopping etc. You are given a questionaire wich you memorize and then on getting to your designation, you make your observations why you shop.
Mystery shopping job is the best job that anybody can do because it is part time and is very flexible. Students can do it, Mothers can do it, you can do it, it is just a matter of adjusting your time just like i do. Mystery shoppers are making a decent income. Why not joing them today?
